🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Sports teaching to Further Education students.
  * Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical sports lessons.
  * Deliver programmes across relevant Sport, Fitness and Physical Education subjects.
  * Support students in developing their practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
  * Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
  * Monitor learner achievement and maintain accurate student records.
  * Prepare teaching materials, schemes of work and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
  * Support students with their academic and professional development.
  * Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and other college policies are followed.
  * Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an effective learning experience.

👤 About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Relevant experience teaching Sport, Sports Studies, Fitness or a related subject within Further Education.
  * Strong knowledge of sports, fitness and physical education principles.
  * Experience delivering engaging theoretical and practical lessons to FE students.
  * Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
  * The ability to assess learner work and provide effective feedback.
  * A passion for sport and supporting students to achieve their goals.
  * A relevant teaching qualification and/or industry experience would be desirable.
