Job Title: Work Experience Officer – Essex/Kent

Salary Range: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum

About the Role / Job Summary:

This role is focused on delivering high-quality education and training services. As an Work Experience Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting learners in their journey towards achieving their career goals. This position offers an opportunity to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them access valuable work experience and information, advice, and guidance (IAG). You will work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, contributing to the positive development of our services. You will be required to travel across Essex and Kent (Basildon/Grays/Strood). This is a permanent contract role, requiring 5 days on-site across 3 locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide information, advice, and guidance to learners regarding work experience opportunities.
• Support the development and implementation of work experience programs.
• Assess learner needs and tailor support accordingly.
• Collaborate with employers to secure placements for learners.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and placements.
• Participate in outreach activities to promote work experience programs.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience of generating work experience opportunities for 16-25 year olds.
• Knowledge of the Gatsby benchmarks.
• Experience of sourcing employers to provide work placements or work-related projects.
• Level 3 qualification in IAG or above.
• Minimum of level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• SEN experience is preferred.
