🚨 RECOVERY COORDINATOR – HUCKNALL, NOTTINGHAM 🚨
📍 Location: Hucknall, Nottingham
⏰ Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
🤝 Sector: Drug & Alcohol Recovery / Community Support
📄 Contract: Temporary – 3-month cover
💷 PAY – DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE (UMBRELLA)
🔹 Less than 12 months: £16-£18 per hour
🔹 1-3 years: £18-£20 per hour
🔹 3+ years: Up to £22 per hour
🌟 THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Recovery Coordinator to join a dedicated team supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use on their journey towards recovery.
You’ll manage your own caseload, build strong relationships with service users and work alongside healthcare professionals and partner agencies to provide person-centred, recovery-focused support.
🧠 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 Manage an allocated caseload as Care Coordinator
🔹 Complete assessments, screening and recovery plans
🔹 Use motivational interviewing to support positive change
🔹 Provide 1-to-1 key work, POD and group sessions
🔹 Complete risk assessments and risk management plans
🔹 Triage service users and make onward referrals
🔹 Work alongside prescribing clinicians and healthcare professionals
🔹 Promote harm reduction and overdose prevention
🔹 Support Naloxone distribution and Needle Exchange services
🔹 Provide health education around BBVs and safer drug use
🔹 Carry out urine/saliva testing and DBST where appropriate
🔹 Connect service users with mutual aid and recovery communities
🔹 Work with GPs, hospitals and partner agencies
🔹 Maintain accurate and confidential case records
🔹 Contribute to duty cover and the wider running of the service

We’re looking for someone who is:
✅ Compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental
✅ Experienced or knowledgeable within substance misuse/recovery services
✅ Confident with assessments, support planning and risk management
✅ Able to build trusting relationships with vulnerable service users
✅ Comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team
✅ Organised and confident managing a caseload
✅ Passionate about harm reduction and recovery-focused practice
✅ Flexible, creative and committed to engaging with diverse communities
