Electrical Apprenticeship Assessor

Location: London

Pay: £50 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-term temporary

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Assessor to join a Further Education provider in London on a long-term temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified assessor with a strong background in Electrical Installation to support a caseload of approximately 30-40 apprentices throughout their training programmes. The successful candidate will monitor learner progress, conduct assessments and ensure apprentices are developing the skills and knowledge required to achieve their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 30-40 Electrical apprentices.
• Conduct assessments, progress reviews and monitor learner development.
• Support apprentices with portfolio evidence and preparation for End-Point Assessment.
• Maintain accurate assessment records and ensure learners remain on track to achieve their qualifications.

Requirements

• A recognised Assessor qualification, such as TAQA or A1, is essential.
• Strong industry experience and technical knowledge within Electrical Installation.
• Previous experience assessing Electrical apprentices.
• Excellent organisational, communication and learner-support skills.
