Plumbing Lecturer

Location: South London

Salary: £45-£50 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

We are working with a Further Education College in South London that is looking to appoint a Plumbing Lecturer to support the delivery of its Construction and Building Services curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional to share their industry knowledge and help learners develop the practical skills and technical understanding needed to succeed in the trade.

The college is looking for someone who can deliver engaging sessions across Levels 1 to 3, supporting learners at different stages of their training and development.

About the Role

• Deliver practical and theory-based Plumbing lessons across Levels 1 to 3
• Prepare learning materials and assessments in line with course requirements
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing
• Relevant industry experience within the Plumbing sector
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine interest in supporting learner development

Desirable

• Previous teaching or training experience
• A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Experience working within Further Education
• Knowledge of current plumbing industry standards and practices
