Level 7 Exam Access Arrangements Assessor – Chelmsford, Essex

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Level 7 Exam Access Arrangements Assessor to support learners within a further education college in Chelmsford.

This is an opportunity for an experienced assessor who is passionate about removing barriers to learning and ensuring students receive appropriate support during examinations.

The role

• Carry out assessments to identify learners’ exam access arrangement needs.

• Produce accurate assessment reports and complete relevant documentation, including Form 8 where required.

• Work closely with learning support, curriculum and examinations teams.

• Review evidence of learners’ needs and their normal way of working.

• Maintain clear records and support compliance with current JCQ requirements.

• Communicate assessment outcomes and recommendations to relevant colleagues.

What we’re looking for

• A relevant Level 7 qualification in access arrangements assessment that meets current JCQ assessor requirements.

• Experience assessing learners for exam access arrangements, ideally within further education.

• Strong knowledge of JCQ requirements and access arrangements documentation.

• Experience using standardised assessments and interpreting results.

• Excellent organisational, communication and report-writing skills.

• A commitment to safeguarding, with an Enhanced DBS and willingness to complete the required compliance checks.
