Job Title: Accounting Lecturer (Temporary)

About the Role / Job Summary:

A College we are working with is seeking an experienced Accounting Lecturer to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in AQA A Level Accounting, ensuring students are well-prepared for their examinations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values professional development and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach AQA A Level Accounting, with a focus on Year 13.
• Familiarize students with the AQA A Level accounting specification.
• Develop engaging lesson plans and course materials.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in achieving their academic goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field (must include accounting).
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience teaching A Level accounting is essential.
• Experience teaching business or economics is desirable.
• Familiarity with AQA A Level accounting specifications is an advantage.
