Assistant Head of Student Support

As the Assistant Head of Student Support, you will lead the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing student well-being and academic success. This role emphasises collaboration with teaching staff to identify student needs and monitor the effectiveness of support programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of student support initiatives
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to identify and address individual student needs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support programs
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices in student support
  • Foster a culture of inclusively and respect within the college community

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a student support role within an educational institution
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing support programs
  • Familiarity with educational policies and regulations related to student support Education Requirements: – Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in student support or special education are advantageous

Experience Requirements

  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Ability to assess and respond to student needs effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
