Welding Lecturer – Permanent Role

Location: Cumbria

Salary: Negotiable

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Key Requirements:

  • Teaching level 1-3 and T levels
  • Experience in teaching across our Level 2 & 3 programmes including NVQ 2 Performing Engineering Operations, Level 3 Diploma in Engineering & Technology, Metal Fabricator Apprenticeships
  • Showcasing and demonstrating to students the process of Welding, this is a fabrication process where two or more pieces of material, typically metals or thermoplastics, are joined together by fusing them with heat, pressure, or both. – this will be done practically out in the work place, on site and theory based in the classroom
  • A passion for mentoring and teaching others
  • A teaching or assessor qualification is desirable, but not essential – full support will be provided
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
