Job Title: Team Manager (Young People’s Supported Accommodation)

Contract: Full-time, Ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (with some flexibility)

Travel: Travel expenses covered; car driver required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to provide vital support in the day-to-day operation of our supported accommodation projects for young people aged 16-24. This role will involve overseeing services at two key locations, ensuring effective and responsive management. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our service users while leading and motivating staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Management:
    • Oversee a supported accommodation project in Hertfordshire for young people, providing both hostel accommodation and outreach services
    • Manage a second supported housing project in Slough, serving up to 15 young people, with similar facilities and outreach support
    • Ensure consistent and visible leadership across both sites, ensuring a safe, supportive, and stable environment for young people, including young mothers
  • Service Delivery:
    • Provide day-to-day management to ensure the effective delivery of support services.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging young people to thrive while ensuring their safety and well-being
    • Respond to emerging risks and issues, using your leadership to mitigate challenges and provide guidance to both staff and residents

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience in managing supported housing or accommodation services for young people, ideally with leadership responsibilities
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to engage with young people from diverse backgrounds and provide both managerial oversight and support

Other Requirements:

  • A proactive, hands-on approach to managing multiple locations
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Car driver with the ability to travel between sites as needed
