Interim People and Culture Manager, 3 months – Housing Sector – Essex with hybrid working- £250 per day

This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available HR Manager to manage all HR operations for a great organisation providing essential housing services.

Reporting into the Head of People and Culture you will provide pragmatic guidance and support to managers and employees across the full range of HR services, from employee relations and policy to recruitment, training, and systems.

Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Acting as the lead advisor on HR policy, employment law and people processes
  • Providing consistent and confident advice on employee relations issues, including investigations, absence, performance, and disciplinary matters
  • Supporting and coaching line managers to build capability, confidence and consistency in people management
  • Overseeing the maintenance of HR systems (People HR)
  • Coaching and upskilling the HR Assistant

You should be an experienced HR Manager with a strong HR operational skill set including experience of tackling absence management, improving retention, coaching and upskilling managers and working with HR systems. A strong knowledge of employment law needs to be combined with experience of line management. Ideally you will have worked in a housing/repairs or similar environment.
