I am currently recruiting for a an IMHA to work within the South London area. Applicants are welcome from all areas of Mental Health even if you do not have the qualification. Experience within Crisis Intervention services, Inpatient setting and placements/qualifications within relevant field applications are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide statutory and non-statutory advocacy support to individuals with mental health needs across East London
• Providing non instructed advocacy when required within either setting
• Working both in a Hospital setting and the community to ensure people receive the advocacy that they require

Essential Requirements:

• Passionate interest in Mental Health Advocacy
• Demonstrating a real eagerness to make a positive impact on peoples lives
• Excellent communication skills
• A willingness to learn and improve within the role
