Job Title: Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate (IDSVA)

Location: Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London

Salary: £18-22 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IDSVA to support patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital experiencing Domestic or Sexual Violence. In this hospital-based role, you will provide trauma-informed advocacy, conduct risk assessments, create safety plans, and collaborate with health care and external services to ensure the safety and well-being of survivors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide confidential, client-centred support to survivors.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored safety plans.
• Liaise with agencies, including police, social services, and legal professionals.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions to hospital staff.
• Maintain accurate, secure records.

About You:

• IDSVA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of domestic and sexual violence and safeguarding.
• Experience managing caseloads and working collaboratively.
• Previous work in health care settings is desirable.
