Are you a Homelessness Prevention Adviser looking for work in North London?

Morgan Hunt’s Public Sector and Government client based in North London is looking to recruit a Homelessness Prevention Adviser to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Homelessness Prevention Adviser, you will provide tailored, customer-focused advice to individuals and families at risk of homelessness or currently residing in private rented accommodation. Your key focus will be to offer guidance on housing options, training and employment opportunities, wellbeing, and welfare benefits/money management, helping individuals achieve sustainable living solutions.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Provide detailed guidance on welfare benefits and financial management to enhance clients’ stability.
  • Develop tailored support plans focusing on training, employment, and wellbeing to help clients maintain or secure accommodation.
  • Deliver personalized housing advice and assistance to customers threatened with homelessness or living in private rented accommodation.
  • Work closely with landlords, external agencies, and support services to resolve housing issues and prevent homelessness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all interactions and ensure compliance with housing legislation and internal policies
