Morgan Hunt is working with a regulatory body in search of an Internal Communications and Engagement Lead for a permanent position.

The role offers hybrid working with 6 days a month in the office based in Brighton, a salary of up to £76,500 per annum and one of the best pension schemes in the country.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Internal Communications professional who is looking to offer their strategic input, working as part of a brilliant communications team.

Key responsibilities of the new Internal Communications and Engagement Lead:

– Shaping and owning the internal communications strategy and support the delivery of workplans and metrics which demonstrate progress

– Secure approval, buy in and support from the Executive committee and build relationships with senior leadership, including the CEO

– Suggest methods to motivate and engage the organisation while dealing with challenging situations.

– Lead a team of 1 with an indirect team size of 3. Look after recruiting and ensuring there are the right skills in place to deliver against the objectives.

– Evaluate communications effectiveness in achieving engagement aims and delivering organisational impact.

– Lead initiatives to drive effectiveness across communication channels.

Previous experience and skills of the new Internal Communications and Engagement Lead:

– Proven ability of effective leadership and matrix management

– Experience in shaping and delivering internal communications and engagement strategies during periods of change

– Experience in delivering multi-part, multi- channel , strategic internal communications programmes aimed at engagement or behaviour change

– Ability to articulate strategy and provision of strategic direction to a diverse audience
