Job Title: Domestic Abuse Helpline Advisor

Location: West London – Opportunity for hybrid work after training and induction

Contract: Temporary for 2-3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Salary: £14-20 per hour

Reports to: Services Manager

Purpose of the Role

To provide confidential, high-quality advice and support to Black and minoritised women and girls affected by violence against women and girls (VAWG).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed advice via helpline and email.
• Conduct needs and risk assessments and make appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate case records and support reporting requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure joined-up support.
• Liaise with external agencies for coordinated care.
• Uphold organisational policies, especially around safeguarding and equality.
• Attend team meetings, supervision, and training.

This role requires flexibility and commitment to supporting vulnerable women and girls with empathy and professionalism.
