Morgan Hunt is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a impactful Not-For-Profit organisation, based in London, to recruit their new Director of People and Culture on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid working arrangement with the expectation to be in their offices 2 days a week.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be a member of the Executive Team that will build and develop the HR function, shaping an inclusive, high-performing culture that supports the organisations missions and values. You will lead the HR and Resources Committee so solid governance knowledge and experience is essential.

As the Director of People and Culture, you will be instrumental in providing strategic leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR team. You will directly manage, motivate, inspire and develop a small team of HR professionals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver the transformational people strategy.
  • Lead and work with the Senior Leadership Team to align culture across the organisation.
  • Working with stakeholders within Unions, challenging activity and negotiating Industrial Relations.
  • Review of the organisations pay policy to ensure that they are attracting excellent staff, and retain staff. Improving staff engagement and making the organisation an employer of choice.
  • Implementation of EDI policies.

Our client is looking for Director of People and Culture, that is ideally CIPD qualified, with experience of:

  • Leading a HR team and setting clear objectives.
  • Successfully handling a wide range of complex ER issues to an appropriate resolution.
  • Delivering organisational change and implement projects of strategic importance.
  • Working in unionised environment ideally.
