Are you a Council Tax Officer looking for work in North London or remotely from home?
Morgan Hunt’s Public Sector and Government client based in North London is looking to recruit a Council Tax Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer home working with one day worked in the office each month.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
– Proficiently use the IWorld/Northgate (NEC) Revenues and Benefits Processing System
– Administer the Billing and Collection of Council Tax
– Open, close and amend Council Tax Accounts
– Take payments and set up direct debit
– Negotiate payment plans on Council Tax debt
– Apply discounts, reliefs, exemptions and disregards
– Handle moves in and out of properties
– Determine liabilities
– Respond to all enquiries in line with legislation and council policy
– Investigate and respond in writing to Councillor and Members complaints within set deadlines
– Assist with incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
