Caseworker and Committee Administrator

Our client, a UK-wide statutory healthcare regulator, is seeking a proactive and organised Caseworker & Committee Administrator to join their Fitness to Practise team. This is a key role providing both administrative and investigative support, helping uphold professional standards and public protection in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate scheduling and administration of regulatory hearings (Professional Conduct, Health, and Investigating Committees).
  • Liaise with legal teams to manage witness logistics and provide in-hearing support.
  • Maintain accurate case records, track outcomes, and support review hearings.
  • Lead investigations into unlawful use of protected titles (Section 32 cases).
  • Act as a main contact for S.32 queries and coordinate evidence gathering.
  • Support panel member performance reviews and organise training and communication.

About You:

  • Strong administrative background within a public sector body
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Understanding of regulatory/legal frameworks preferred
  • Calm under pressure, values-driven, and a strong team player.

Desirable:

  • Experience with legal casework or hearings.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes and politically sensitive environments.
