Morgan Hunt is working alongside an FE College based in Derbyshire to recruit for a qualified BSL/English Interpreter to join their Deaf Access Team as a Community & Educational Interpreter.

Job Role – BSL Interpreter

Location – Derbyshire

Hours – Full time/37 hours a week.

The Role

  • This role includes lots of variety and you’ll be working with a wide range of people, from students to professionals in their workplace.
  • You may be asked to attend a one-off appointment or be working with the same person on multiple occasions, in various settings such as hospitals, GP surgeries, offices and classrooms.
  • Whilst you will be out in the community working with external customers, you will also be asked to support internal colleagues and higher education students.
  • There are also other unique projects to get involved with, such as induction videos for students.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified to Level 4/6 in BSL

– NRCDP registered or a willingness to become registered.

– People personal with excellent interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
