Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 + Path to Equity Partnership

Are you an ambitious and experienced audit & accounts professional ready to take the next step towards partnership?
An established and fast-growing four-partner accountancy firm is looking for a Partner Designate to join their leadership team. With a wide-ranging portfolio of clients-from entrepreneurial SMEs to £230m turnover groups, including international consolidations-this is a standout opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job: it’s a pathway to shape the future of a dynamic practice.
You’ll step into a pivotal role supporting the senior partners in driving growth and evolving the firm’s strategy. With a highly competent audit manager already in place, your focus will be on overseeing the audit function, working closely with the existing team, and acting as a key liaison between partners and staff.
This is a 50/50 split role across audit and accounts with exposure to IFRS, overseas consolidations, and a real mix of industry sectors.
Oversee and support the audit department, managing an experienced audit manager
Take ownership of a growing portfolio
Play a strategic role in practice development and client relationship management
Work closely with partners on firmwide strategy, growth, and business development
Lead client meetings and ensure high standards of communication and service
Contribute to the general management and operational running of the firm
Potential for Responsible Individual (RI) status – support provided if not yet RI
Qualified ACA/ACCA with significant post-qualification experience
Strong audit and accounts background (including experience with consolidated accounts)
Previous managerial experience essential
Excellent communication skills – confident leading client relationships
Desire and ability to bring in new business / fees
Ambitious, collaborative, and committed to progression
Familiarity with software including IRIS, Caseware, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero
Salary £80,000 – £110,000 depending on experience
Route to salary partner and then equity partner
Commission potential for bringing in new fees
Genuine input into shaping the firm’s future
