VOIDS SURVEYOR 🚨

📍 Location: North West London
💰 Rate: £360 per day
📄 Contract: Ongoing

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Voids Surveyor to join a North West London Council on an ongoing contract.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in social housing or local authority property maintenance, with a focus on void inspections, specifying repair works and ensuring properties meet fire safety and compliance standards before being re-let.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct void property inspections and condition surveys.
• Prepare schedules of works and specifications for repairs and refurbishment.
• Ensure properties meet fire safety, health and safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• Monitor contractors, workmanship, costs, quality and timescales.
• Identify defects and ensure properties are safe and ready for re-letting.
• Liaise with housing teams, contractors and stakeholders to minimise void turnaround times.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience as a Voids Surveyor within social housing or a local authority.
• Strong knowledge of voids repairs, maintenance and property inspections.
• Good understanding of fire safety and housing compliance.
• Experience managing contractors and monitoring works through to completion.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
