Job Title: Tenant Repairs Support Officers

About the Role / Job Summary:

Morgan Hunt is seeking Tenant Repairs Support Officers to provide essential support to tenants facing complex repairs issues. In this role, you will act as a named advocate, ensuring effective communication and timely updates throughout the repairs process. This position is vital in enhancing the service delivery for vulnerable tenants, promoting their voices, and ensuring their concerns are addressed. As part of the Housing Repairs and Resident Services team, you will contribute to improving tenant satisfaction and reducing complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the named advocate for residents in the Tenant Advocacy Pilot.
• Build trusted relationships with residents navigating complex repairs.
• Explain repairs processes and responsibilities clearly.
• Manage advocacy cases from referral to resolution.
• Coordinate with housing teams and contractors to facilitate effective communication.
• Monitor case progress and escalate concerns as necessary.
• Conduct tenant satisfaction surveys post-completion of works.
• Support residents requiring adjustments or additional assistance.

Qualifications:

• Experience in housing, repairs, customer service, or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles.
• Competence in using housing management systems and Microsoft Office.

• Experience supporting vulnerable customers or residents with diverse needs.
• Experience resolving customer issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds.
