Interim Team Leader – Compliance & Student Records
Sutton Coldfield | Minimum 3-Month Contract | Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced Compliance & Student Records team within a Further Education setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator and confident people manager with experience within student records, enrolment, MIS, compliance, or apprenticeship administration.

The successful candidate will lead a team of 4 staff, ensuring enrolment and back-office data is processed accurately, efficiently, and within required deadlines, while supporting operational delivery during a busy enrolment period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and manage a team of 4 administrators

  • Ensure enrolment and student records data is entered accurately and in a timely manner

  • Manage team workloads, shared inboxes, and data change requests

  • Support the processing of Apprenticeship learner documentation from enrolment through to completion

  • Maintain high levels of compliance and data accuracy across all records

  • Support front-facing enrolment services during busy summer periods

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with staff working across multiple sites via Teams and email

  • Work closely with the Audit & Compliance Manager to support departmental objectives

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Previous experience within Compliance, MIS, Student Records, Admissions, Enrolment, or Apprenticeship Administration

  • Experience managing or supervising staff within a busy administrative environment

  • Knowledge of ProSolution is highly desirable

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Experience within Further Education or a college environment would be advantageous

Location:
Based primarily at Sutton Coldfield with occasional travel to other college sites when required.

Contract Details:

  • Interim role for a minimum of 3 months

  • Immediate start available

  • Full-time hours
