About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of ISVA (Advocacy) Services to lead and develop specialist advocacy provision for people with autism and learning disabilities who have experienced sexual violence.

This is a strategic and operational leadership role with responsibility for ensuring high-quality, rights-based, trauma-informed advocacy that enables survivors to access justice, safety, and recovery.

The postholder will lead on commissioned workstreams, oversee delivery and impact, embed consistent practice across advocacy services, and manage risk. They will also play a key role in developing new opportunities, securing funding, and expanding services.

  • Lead operational delivery, ensuring service outcomes and contractual targets are met.
  • Drive service improvement through reflective practice, consultation, and lived experience input.
  • Manage budgets effectively and identify funding opportunities to sustain and grow services.
  • Oversee commissioned advocacy workstreams, including monitoring impact, risk management, and reporting to funders/commissioners.
  • Line manage the Advocacy Team Leader, ensuring robust supervision, development, and safeguarding practice.
  • Establish effective data and reporting systems to evidence outcomes and inform service learning.
  • Represent the service in pan-London forums and at national level, influencing policy and best practice.
  • Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and professionals across safeguarding, justice, and health systems.
  • Promote co-production with people with lived experience in service development.

About You

We are looking for an inspiring leader who combines strategic thinking with strong operational management. You will bring:

  • Significant experience in advocacy, ISVA services, safeguarding, or survivor services within complex or high-risk settings.
  • Proven leadership experience in a multidisciplinary or frontline setting.
  • Experience of managing commissioned services, public contracts, or grant-funded projects.
  • Strong safeguarding expertise, including decision-making around high-risk cases.
  • Ability to analyse data for impact, reporting, and service improvement.
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
  • Knowledge of ISVA national minimum standards, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding law.
  • Understanding of barriers to justice faced by autistic people and people with learning disabilities.

What We Offer

  • A dynamic and values-driven working environment.
  • Opportunities to shape and grow advocacy services at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Ongoing professional development, supervision, and reflective practice support.
  • The chance to make a real impact on access to justice and recovery for survivors.
