Morgan Hunt are currently working with a national regulator in their search for an Interim Senior Education Quality & Supervision Officer to join on a fixed-term basis. This is a highly engaging, front-facing role focused on the supervision and quality assurance of professional education and training providers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong higher education quality assurance, professional qualifications or regulatory education oversight experience to step into a visible role within a respected regulatory environment.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of regulated stakeholders, with a particular focus on vocational training providers delivering professional qualifications. Acting as the key relationship lead, you will oversee supervision and quality assurance activity, assess intelligence and reports, maintain risk profiles, and determine appropriate next steps where concerns arise.

A significant part of the role will involve working closely with training providers, academic stakeholders and external examiners, reviewing quality reports, assessment outcomes, reflective reviews and regulatory intelligence to ensure educational standards are being maintained. You will need a strong understanding of the relationship between assessment, quality assurance and professional education standards, with the ability to assess risk proportionately and engage credibly with senior stakeholders.

You will also respond to concerns relating to regulated individuals, organisations or training providers, assessing incoming intelligence, determining appropriate action, and managing matters through to resolution. Alongside core casework, you will contribute to wider regulatory improvement initiatives and project-based work.

The successful candidate will bring experience from a higher education, further education, awarding body, qualifications or education quality assurance environment. You will be confident managing stakeholder relationships, interpreting complex information and making balanced, evidence-based decisions in a fast-paced setting.
