We are seeking a Resolution Administrator to join a university based in Buckinghamshire on a temporary three-month contract. This role is inside IR35 and starting ASAP, running until 19 December 2025. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £19.35 per hour (umbrella) and is based on 37 hours per week, though flexibility will be considered for candidates who wish to work three to four days per week. The role will follow a hybrid working pattern, with two days on campus and three days remote.
The Resolution Administrator will provide vital administrative support to the Resolutions Team, promoting a positive student experience. You’ll be responsible for managing inboxes, maintaining records, supporting complaint and conduct procedures, and liaising with staff and students at all levels. The role requires someone who is resilient, proactive, and able to manage changing priorities, while handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Manage incoming queries in a confidential and professional manner.
Maintain administrative processes and office procedures to support the team.
Accurately record and track complaints and disciplinary cases.
Assist with Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) cases and related documentation.
Support the fulfilment of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
Prepare and manage information resources and produce documentation.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the university.
We are looking for a Resolution Administrator with:
A good standard of education (A-level or equivalent).
Experience in an administrative role.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and databases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
A flexible, team-oriented approach and the confidence to adapt to changing priorities.
