Plumbing Lecturer
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Start Date: August/ September
We are working with a well-established Further Education College in Bury St Edmunds that is looking to appoint a Plumbing Lecturer to join its successful Construction department. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced lecturer or a skilled plumbing professional looking to transition into education and inspire the next generation of tradespeople.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Plumbing programmes, supporting learners to develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required for successful careers within the industry.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging and practical Plumbing teaching across Levels 1 to 3
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials
- Support learners to achieve their qualifications and career aspirations
- Maintain a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing
- Relevant industry experience within the Plumbing sector
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A passion for developing and supporting learners
Desirable
- Previous teaching, training, or assessing experience
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working within Further Education or apprenticeships
- Knowledge of current industry standards and practices
