Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 per annum
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed term until 30 June 2026 with the potential to extend depending on funding
Location: London Boroughs / hybrid working

About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Drive Case Manager to play a pivotal role in tackling domestic abuse by working directly with perpetrators whose victims have been identified as high risk. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by helping to reduce harm, promote accountability, and support safer outcomes for victims and families.

As a Drive Case Manager, you will engage perpetrators in one-to-one interventions designed to influence attitudinal and behavioural change, reduce risk, and promote safer relationships. You’ll work closely with the local IDVA service and a range of multi-agency partners – including social care, police, housing, and health – to deliver coordinated interventions that protect victims and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of high-risk domestic abuse perpetrators, carrying out assessments and developing tailored intervention plans.
  • Use motivational interviewing, pro-social modelling, and behavioural techniques to support individuals in addressing abusive behaviours.
  • Work closely with IDVAs and partner agencies to ensure victim safety and effective risk management.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and contribute to data collection, evaluation, and service reviews.
  • Act as a single point of contact for professionals involved in each case.
  • Participate in multi-agency meetings, including MARAC, and represent the service as required.
  • Identify and address related issues such as substance misuse, housing, and mental health needs that may contribute to risk.
  • Promote best practice, contribute to service development, and champion effective partnership working.

About You

You’ll be a confident and empathetic professional, able to build rapport with individuals while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accountability. You will have:

  • Experience working directly with vulnerable people or those with complex needs.
  • Knowledge of domestic abuse, safeguarding, and public protection frameworks.
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and conflict management skills.
  • Experience of multi-agency working within sectors such as social care, criminal justice, or health.
  • The ability to work independently, manage a busy caseload, and make defensible decisions under pressure.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.

A background in domestic abuse perpetrator work, IDVA/Drive services, or related safeguarding roles is desirable. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the boroughs is required.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive training, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
  • The chance to be part of a progressive, evidence-led programme focused on changing lives and improving safety.
  • A supportive, multi-agency environment committed to reducing harm and fostering lasting change.
