💼 Recovery Coordinator – Non-Opiate

📅 3-month temporary contract

⏰ Full-time | Monday-Friday

💷 Pay Rate – Dependent on Direct Recovery Experience

• Less than 12 months: £16-£18 per hour (Umbrella)
• 1-3 years: £18-£20 per hour (Umbrella)
• 3+ years: Up to £22 per hour (Umbrella)

  We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join a busy substance misuse service in Croydon, supporting individuals whose treatment needs are focused around non-opiate substance use.

  🔑 Key responsibilities:

• Managing an allocated caseload of service users
• Completing screening, assessments and recovery plans
• Providing structured 1-to-1 key work and psychosocial interventions
• Supporting individuals with non-opiate substance use and related needs
• Providing harm reduction, health education and relapse prevention support
• Completing risk assessments and safeguarding
• Coordinating onward referrals and wider support packages
• Working with health, mental health, criminal justice and community services
• Supporting service users to build recovery capital and achieve sustainable outcomes
• Maintaining accurate case records and treatment documentation
  

  👀 We’re looking for:

  ✅ Previous experience within substance misuse / drug and alcohol services

  ✅ Direct experience supporting people with non-opiate substance use

  ✅ Experience with assessments, recovery planning and risk management

  ✅ Strong key-working and motivational interviewing skills

  ✅ Knowledge of harm reduction and recovery-focused practice

  ✅ Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills

  ✅ A non-judgemental and person-centred approach
