Maths Lecturer – Interim

Salary – £45-£50PH
Location: Shoreham
Duration: 6 weeks
Hours: Full Time

We are currently working with a respected Further Education College that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE Maths Lecturer to join its teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in achieving their GCSE Maths qualification while delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in a supportive Further Education environment.

About the Role

• Deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons to learners across the college
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• A relevant degree or Level 5 qualification in Maths or a related subject
• Experience teaching GCSE Maths, ideally within Further Education
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting learners to achieve their full potential

Desirable

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Experience working within a Further Education setting
• Knowledge of current GCSE Maths curriculum and assessment requirements
