🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Math lessons across a range of levels, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Support learners with varying abilities to improve confidence and attainment.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance learner outcomes.
• Ensure all teaching meets safeguarding, equality and quality standards.

👤 About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience teaching Math within a Further Education college or similar setting.
• Excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Math.
• Strong communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting learners to achieve their potential.
• Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs would be desirable.
• A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE or Cert Ed would be desirable.
