Position: Lecturer in Sports Studies

Location: Maulton

Contract Type: [Full-time / Permanent]

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Sports Studies. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of sports professionals, contribute to cutting-edge research, and engage with the wider sporting community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs in sports studies, sports science, or related disciplines.
• Develop and implement innovative curricula and learning resources.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations, and practical sessions.
• Contribute to research initiatives and academic publications in the field of sports studies.
• Engage in community and industry partnerships, including sports organizations and local initiatives.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• A postgraduate qualification in Sports Studies, Sports Science, Physical Education, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching within sports or education.
• Strong understanding of contemporary issues in sports, including health, performance, inclusivity, and technology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in research and publication in sports-related disciplines.
• Industry experience within professional sports, coaching, or sports management.
• Knowledge of online learning platforms and digital teaching methods.
