Interim Recruitment Process Improvement Consultant, 3 months (part time) – Charity – London with hybrid working

Our client is seeking an experienced consultant to review their recruitment process from advertising to onboarding. This is an opportunity to refine their approach to better meet future hiring needs.

The consultant will assess current practices and recommend improvements to ensure the process is inclusive, user-friendly, efficient, compliant, and adaptable across teams. The focus is on enhancing both candidate and hiring manager experience, with clear, practical recommendations to support implementation of an improved recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct a comprehensive review of current recruitment processes, identifying pinch points, risks, and inconsistencies.

· Evaluate and recommend improvements to job descriptions, essential criteria, and recruitment materials.

· Provide actionable recommendations to embed inclusivity, reduce bias, and manage reasonable adjustments effectively.

· Improve hiring manager experience with clearer guidance, efficient workflows, and tools to reduce administrative burden.

Essential Requirements

· Proven experience improving end-to-end recruitment processes, with strong ATS knowledge.

· Expertise in inclusive recruitment, process analysis, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.

· Experience with journey mapping, process design, and ensuring compliance and accessibility.

· Strong management, communication skills, and use of data/KPIs to drive improvement.
