Job Title: Independent Living Officer (Temp)

As an Independent Living Officer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a person-centred service, supporting tenants in Independent Living accommodation. This is your chance to make a real impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Independent Living Office include:

• Visiting residents across various schemes, with 30-40 visits per week
• Providing housing-related support that promotes independence and well-being
• Engaging with residents to create tailored support plans and offer reassurance
• Acting as a key point of contact for residents while escalating complex matters through the appropriate channels
• Collaborating with a team of Independent Living Officers, led by experienced team leaders

Candidates for the role of Independent Living Officer will need:

• Experience in social housing and supporting vulnerable tenants
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse clients
• A proactive and compassionate approach to problem-solving
• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between schemes
