Hybrid Housing Advisor

Location: East London

Salary: £27,000 – 28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Working Pattern: 4 days office based, 1 day working from home

An established community focused organisation in East London is seeking a Hybrid Housing Advisor

This role focuses on supporting individuals in the community who are experiencing mental health challenges and may require assistance with tenancy management and, on occasion, welfare benefits guidance. The organisation works closely with the local authority, receiving referrals to provide person centred, practical support that promotes independence and stability.

About the Role

• Provide one to one support to individuals living in the community
• Assist clients with tenancy related matters and housing
• Offer basic guidance around welfare benefits where required
• Maintain accurate case records and liaise with relevant agencies
• Manage a small caseload (currently 5 – 10 clients, subject to referrals)
• Occasionally support or participate in workshops delivered at the service

About You

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals in a community, housing or support based setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• Good understanding of tenancy sustainment or transferable skills from housing, support work, advice services, or similar sectors
• Mental health experience is beneficial but not essential
