Housing Officer – RB Kingston Upon Thames

**Job Title:** Housing Officer

**About the Role / Job Summary:**

We are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join our Housing Landlord Services team. This permanent role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in an agile and networked organization, providing housing services that reflect the needs of our community. The successful candidate will work on-site four days a week and one day from home, ensuring that we maintain sustainable tenancies in vibrant communities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Deliver integrated housing services to tenants and leaseholders while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

– Provide a customer-focused housing management service across a designated area, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.

– Act as a visible presence in estates, addressing housing management matters and ensuring neighborhood safety.

– Champion resident and community engagement, including developing estate improvement plans in collaboration with residents.

**Qualifications:**

– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general needs housing management.

– Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

– Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.

**Education Requirements:**

– Relevant qualifications in housing, social work, or a related field are preferred.

**Experience Requirements:**

– Experience in delivering housing services within a local government or similar setting.

– Proven track record of managing relationships with tenants, residents, and stakeholders.
