The Opportunity

We’re recruiting on behalf of a number of well-established Further Education colleges across Central London for an enthusiastic Health & Social Care Lecturer.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach BTEC Health & Social Care to learners aged 16-19, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their qualifications and progress into higher education or careers within the health and social care sector.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Health & Social Care lessons.
• Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with awarding body requirements.
• Support learners to achieve their full academic potential.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

What You’ll Need

Essential

• Experience teaching BTEC Health & Social Care.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health & Social Care or a related field.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable

• PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or another recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching within a Further Education college.
