Job Title: Hairdressing Lecturer

Salary: Competitive

Location: Cambridge

Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary (37 hours per week)

We are looking for a talented and passionate Hairdressing Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to pass on their skills and knowledge to the next generation of hairdressing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality hairdressing theory and practical lessons to students.
• Plan, prepare, and mark assignments, assessments, and coursework.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students to support their learning and development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, techniques, and trends.
• Ensure that all teaching and learning materials are accurate and engaging.
• Comply with health, safety, and safeguarding procedures in the classroom and training areas.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of the hairdressing curriculum.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing Qualification (or equivalent).
• Assessors Qualification (A1 or equivalent).
• Previous experience teaching hairdressing is desirable, but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students.
• Strong industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of hairdressing techniques, trends, and best practices.
• A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 Pm
