An exciting opportunity has become available for a Groundworks Lecturer to join a respected education provider in Northampton. This role is ideal for someone with strong industry experience who is passionate about developing learners and helping shape future careers within the construction sector.

You’ll be delivering engaging, hands-on teaching to students studying Groundworks and related Construction programmes, helping them gain the practical skills and industry knowledge employers are looking for.

This course is brand new to the College and so you will be part of a new team helping to deliver this role for the first time with new facilities for it!

The Role

As a Groundworks Lecturer, you will:

• Deliver high-quality practical and theory-based sessions
• Teach learners across Groundworks and Construction pathways
• Support student progress, achievement, and employability
• Create an engaging and safe learning environment
• Share valuable real-world industry experience with learners
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental growth

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant Groundworks or Construction qualifications
• Strong industry experience within Groundworks/Civil Construction
• Previous teaching or training experience desirable
• Teaching qualification advantageous, but support may be available
• Passion for education and learner development
