Finance Business Partner will be working for a further and higher education provider in Peterborough. Specifically working for a college which provides a range of technical qualifications. Focused on changing lives with creative learning, strong community and skills focused education.

They are looking for a dependable and organised Finance Business Manager to join their finance team.

The role

As a Finance Business Partner your role will be to support managers and senior staff in making financial decisions. The role involves analysing financial data, monitoring key performance indicators, highlighting variances, and preparing management accounts and reports.

The role ensures compliance, accurate records, and contributes to business planning and year-end processes. They collaborate with non-finance staff, promote team objectives, and communicate financial information clearly.

What will you be doing

• Provide financial guidance to managers and budget holders for informed decision-making.
• Prepare forecasts, monitor performance, and highlight key variances.
• Analyse data and KPIs to deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with non-finance teams to drive budgeting and business planning.
• Maintain compliance, support audits, and streamline financial processes.
