The role

Finance Assistant will be part of a college with a proud 100+ year history, helping and inspiring people to develop their skills.

They are looking for a reliable Finance Assistant to handle invoices, payments, account reconciliations, and support supplier and customer queries.

What will you be doing

· Accurately process invoices, payments, journals, and banking documents.

· You will be the key point of contact to resolve any queries.

· Support purchase and customer accounts, including statements, reconciliations, and chasing outstanding payments.

· Provide general finance and admin support while working in line with college policies and values.

Required skills and qualifications

· AAT Qualified (or equivalent)

· Experience in a financial department with knowledge of accounting procedures

· High attention to detail

· Experience in Microsoft Office and strong IT skills

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
