New City College is one of the biggest and most successful colleges in the country, made up of local campuses across East London and Essex – all central to the communities they serve. The campuses have come together through a series of college mergers, designed to increase strength, quality and resilience. The result? New City College is now a firm and influential leader in the further education sector.
At some of our campuses, the college experience is tailored for 16-19 year-olds. Other campuses offer opportunities for adults to learn new skills and get qualified. Some campuses offer courses across a number of different subjects; others are specialised. What all of our campuses have in common is that courses and apprenticeships at New City College are tailored to local and regional needs and employment opportunities.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To proactively manage the operational delivery of facilities management services at the Campus. To line manage the Campus Facilities team members, providing supervision, guidance and ensuring training needs are identified and met. To manage the campus space, optimising the learning environment, utilising both teaching and non-teaching accommodation, together with the efficient management of moves and relocations. To maintain an accurate asset inventory in the Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system for the Campus.
Facilitate project tracking and reporting of all minor works projects for the Campus. Support the Facilities Co-Ordinator in managing lettings and leases for the Campus.
