Executive Assistant/HR Manager

As the Executive Assistant/HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing direct support to CEO, Board of Trustees and Leadership Team while managing HR functions.

This hybrid role demands excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, as you will handle a wide range of administrative and HR responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and supportive work culture.

The role is 4 days a week and 1 day will be based in the office.

Main duties of the role:

  • Provide executive-level administrative support, including managing schedules, travel arrangements, and meetings
  • Acting as point of contact between executives/Trustees and employees/clients/stakeholders
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and documents for Board and Council meetings
  • Record discussions, meetings and ensuring confidential storage of CEO and board papers
  • Providing timely support to CEO and Trustees
  • Coordinating daily calendars and travel arrangements
  • Facilitate internal communications
  • Coordinating payment of Trustee expenses
  • Coordinate HR activities, such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Plan and run company events, meetings, and HR initiatives. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism

Person specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, HR Manager, or in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software
