English Lecturer – East London

Temporary Ongoing Contract | Full-Time or Part-Time | September Start

Are you an enthusiastic English Lecturer looking for your next opportunity? We are partnering with a well-established further education college in East London that is seeking a motivated lecturer to join their team from September on an ongoing temporary basis.

In this role, you’ll deliver engaging English lessons to learners aged 16-19, helping them build their literacy skills, confidence, and achieve their academic goals. You’ll become part of a supportive department that values high-quality teaching and student success.

We’re looking for:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) – desirable
• Experience delivering English within a further education or secondary education setting
• A degree in English or a related subject
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential
