Job Title: English Lecturer (Temporary)

Location: North London

We are looking for a dedicated and professional English Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English to learners aged 16-18 year old students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support team goals.
• Plan lessons, assess progress, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with policies and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or equivalent qualification.
• A recognized teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English.
• Knowledge of the GCSE English Language curriculum (familiarity with the Eduqas syllabus is a plus).
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
