About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality instruction in English language and/or literature, supporting student development, and contributing to curriculum enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in English language and/or literature
• Develop and update course materials in line with academic standards
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and coursework
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students
• Support curriculum planning and development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or higher) in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
• Prior teaching or lecturing experience preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and digital learning tools

Desirable Skills

• Experience with curriculum development
• Knowledge of academic assessment standards
• Research experience or published work in a relevant field
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
