Job Title: Employability Tutor (mat cover) – Watford

Location: Watford

Salary: £23,000 – £32,000

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for maternity cover (up to 12 months)

Work Arrangement: This role will be based on-site, 5 days per week.

About the Role / Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Employability Tutor for maternity cover in Watford. This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and assist them in achieving their educational objectives in a supportive environment. As a Employability Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering educational programs to post 16 learners that cater to diverse learner needs, ensuring that students build essential skills for their future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Employability training to students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and update training materials to align with educational standards.
• Support students in achieving their educational and career objectives.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Employability education principles.
• Teaching or assessing qualification is required.
• Experience of delivering Employability training is required.
• Experience of working with SEN learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
