Electrical Installation Lecturer

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Location: London

Start Date: August/September

The Role

You will be delivering engaging practical and theory-based Electrical Installation lessons to learners across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 programmes. You’ll support learners in developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers within the electrical industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality Electrical Installation teaching and assessment
  • Teaching both workshop practicals and classroom theory sessions
  • Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Supporting achievement, retention and positive learner outcomes
  • Maintaining a safe and professional learning environment
  • Contributing to course planning, assessment and quality processes

Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

  • A recognised Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
  • Recent industry experience as an electrician or electrical installation professional
  • Experience delivering Electrical Installation training, assessing apprentices, or teaching within FE
  • A teaching qualification is advantageous, although industry professionals looking to move into teaching are encouraged to apply
  • Strong knowledge of current industry standards, regulations and best practice
