Location: Epsom, Surrey

Salary: £45,151 per annum

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Apprenticeship Assessor to join a well-established Further Education and Training provider based in Epsom, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified assessor with a strong background in Electrical Installation to support and develop the next generation of skilled electricians.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of apprentices, carrying out workplace assessments, conducting reviews, and supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. As this is an assessor position, regular travel to employer sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a caseload of Electrical apprentices across Levels 2 and 3.
  • Conduct workplace assessments, reviews, and progress monitoring visits.
  • Support apprentices in building their portfolios and preparing for End-Point Assessment.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all awarding body and compliance requirements are met.

What We’re Looking For

  • A recognised Assessor qualification is essential
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience assessing Electrical apprentices within Further Education or Work-Based Learning.
  • Strong industry knowledge and excellent communication and organisational skills.
